Q: How do you determine project pricing?
CCC: Upon personally inspecting or getting good photos of the fixtures to be serviced, I can estimate the time that it will take to properly complete them. Issues like size, tiers, type of dirt and any repair are all factors as they command different procedures.
Q: How do you address chandeliers that are mounted higher than 12 feet?
CCC: If there is no lowering device for the high chandelier then special safe access consideration becomes a factor. Equipment rentals and assistants become necessary. Scaffolding, 16 foot ladder, lift truck, etc. These all are at an additional cost.
Q: Do you pick up and deliver chandeliers for restoration that are taken down?
CCC: Yes. I can safely transport them to my shop at no charge.
Q: Must the client remain home while you work?
CCC: No. Many of my residential clients lead busy lives and choose to be away while I work. Once the project scope is agreed upon then I require no supervision.
Q: When and how do you get paid?
CCC: Upon completion usually via check or cash. I seldom require a deposit.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
CCC: There really is none if the date is canceled and rescheduled within a reasonable time.
Q: Do you subcontract the work or send employees.
CCC: I do not as I am the sole artist for your project.
Q: Can you offer advice on shipping or other related services?
CCC: I have plenty of vetted resources to offer clients.
